There is lots of activity at Summerfields West, the new 55+ Williamstown, NJ community. With the addition of their new Activities Director, Trudi Clark, Summerfields West now has even more to offer! The new Recreation Center is fast becoming the center of activity where homeowners gather to socialize and participate in community programs planned by Trudi.
“I’m interested in providing the fun activities and trips that the homeowners are seeking,” Trudi explained. She is developing all kinds of programs, activities and trips from the new Recreation Center at Summerfields West. There are arts and crafts activities in the craft room – residents recently made beautiful spring wreaths, acrylic painting lessons are also being offered. Trudi says it’s easy and fun! The painting lessons are open to residents and non-residents alike.
“I’m planning trips to Atlantic City, Longwood Gardens, the Philadelphia Museums, the Philidelphia Flower Show, Mann Music Center, as well as trips to the local movie theaters, farmers markets and days at the beach,” added Trudi.
Other activities include pottery for beginners, painting on ceramics, memoir writing, exercise programs in the Recreation Center gym, a Book of the Month Club, Country Line Dancing and more!
“Trudi has an extensive background in the arts and crafts field with over 30 years of teaching,” said Brian Temple, President of the Temple Companies and the developer of Summerfields West. “She formerly owned and operated The Clay Place in Sicklerville and is a Potter who sells her work at craft shows throughout the tri-state area. We are excited to have Trudi as part of our growing community. Along with her many creative talents, she brings enthusiasm and a love of people to her job. Our residents are looking forward to participating in the programs she is planning.”
